Patented Tri-Clamp Safety System

Opening a keg under pressure is one of the most common ways homebrewers get hurt. Our keg fermenter is designed to prevent it.

The lid clamps use custom keyed nuts that can't be turned with standard tools. The only tool that fits is built into the pressure relief valve. To open the lid, you first pull the PRV, which vents the keg, and then use it to loosen the clamps. The tool is tethered to the keg with a stainless cable, so it never gets lost and stays with the keg it belongs to.

      This keg is great. Kegged and fermented an IPA with a spunding valve and kveik yeast, had fermentation activity in about 6-8 hours. Will be pressure transferring to another keg this weekend to clean and return this for another brew.

      Pretty awesome

      Well made and seems to work just fine . Some assembly required, but it says so in the description. We’ve purchased 2 so i would definitely recommend it.

      Very well made

      I have 2 of these and their dry hopper attachment. I have only used the dry hopper once so far, but it worked great. And their customer service/support is outstanding!!

      Excited to use.. But one thing is off

      I don't know how I didn't notice this when I first unboxed the keg, but the handle is in the way from removing the dip tube. Might be a factory mistake? Either way, it's gonna get used. Might take some extra effort to clean the tube that's all!

      Thanks for the order!
      Sorry for the trouble. You can simple push the handle in a bit to clear the dip tube. That will allow the dip to clear and make installation and removal simple going forward. Let me know if you have any questions.

      Good ss fermenter

      Good for a pressure fermenter. The lid and tri clamps are kinda a pain but can deal with for the price.
