Start your homebrewing hobby with an easy beer recipe. This Amber Kellerbier recipe kit comes with every pre-measured ingredient you need to brew Martin's Amber Kellerbier, a 5-gallon all-grain batch, from grain to glass.
Kellerbier is cellar beer, the way lager tasted before filtration became standard. In Franconia, brewers pull it young and unfiltered straight from the lagering cellar, so it arrives soft and hazy, with a fuller malt presence than a polished helles or festbier. The amber version carries more color and a deeper toasted-malt note.
Vienna and melanoidin malts build a bready, faintly caramelized base, while Hallertau Mittelfrueh and Northern Brewer set a firm, old-school bitterness. Left unfiltered, it keeps the fresh yeast character that defines the style.
