This all-grain recipe kit takes the guesswork out of brew day. This Belgian Blond Ale recipe kit comes with every pre-measured ingredient you need to brew Martin's Belgian Blond Ale, a 5-gallon all-grain batch, from grain to glass.
The Belgian Blond Ale is a pale, softly sweet beer that many Belgian breweries make as an approachable entry into their range. It sits below the strong golden ale in intensity, with a smooth malt sweetness, light pepper and fruit from the yeast, and a gentle bitterness. The color runs gold to light amber and the body stays medium, while the strength holds moderate for the style at around seven percent, warming without turning heavy.
Styrian Goldings and Tettnang give a soft, earthy hop note that stays out of the yeast's way and lets the fermentation character lead.
