Element / Adapter Kits

This product does not include a heating element, element adapter, etc. Two kits are available for purchase as an add-on below.

The kit for stainless is intended to be used in stainless steel stills and brew systems with 1.5" stainless steel ferrules and includes a stainless steel element adapter, a 1650w ULWD heating element, a 6' element cord, and 1/2" NPT thermowell.

The kit for copper is intended to be used in our 5 and 10 gallon copper stills and included a 1/2" NPT copper temp probe fitting, 1.5" copper ferrule (both to be soldered into the still boiler), a 1/2" NPT thermowell, an element adapter, a 1650w (ULWD) element, a tri-clamp, a gasket and a 6' element power cord.

      A noticeable improvement over the original controller i replaced after 7 years it finally burnt up from getting too hot. This new unit stays alot cooler

      A great product made better

      Love that the fan was installed with this version. Coming from the original controller heat was always an issue so to have that addition was excellent!

      Great piece of equipment. Great service!

      My first controller after 6 years and hundreds of brews finally died. I ordered a replacement controller and received it with a week. I love the new addition of a fan to the controller as my old one used to get very hot. I ran a double brew day this last Saturday and the controller remained cool the whole time.

      I also want to add that in the 6 years that I had my old controller, I would reach out for advice, troubleshooting guides, etc. The clawhammer team was super fast in replying with guidance and part numbers. I really appreciate the quality of their product and the support they give!
