Lowers Mash pH • Clean, Neutral Acidification

Lactic acid is the standard for lowering mash and sparge water pH without adding off-flavors. A few milliliters brings alkaline water into the ideal mash range, sharpening pale and hoppy beers and improving extract efficiency.

How to Use

• Add drops to the mash or sparge water to lower pH.
• Add gradually and measure with a pH meter or strips.
• Also used to acidify sparge water to prevent tannin extraction.
