Stir Plate Kit - 2000 mL

Great little kit!

Works well- it’s my first stir plate but I think the magnet stays in place well. I keep it all in the original shipping package between uses and that has worked to keep everything together (plug, unit and stir bar). For the money - I think I have easily gotten my ROI in the past couple of years by salvaging yeast for next brew day. Yeast can be one of those ‘hidden’ expenses- nice to avoid unless I want to splurge on something different or unusual.

This stir plate works just as it should work. No issues.

This stir plate kit has all the bits I needed to get my yeast starter going. I've now used it 3 times and it really helps to give my yeast a leg up when starting fermentation. And I wouldn't say it's loud by any measure, but it does drive my wife crazy having to hear it in the kitchen for 24 to 48 hours.

Works as expected. I was a little worried at first as the base is slightly smaller than the width of the flask. But it is very stable on the stir plate. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to make yeast starters!
