There is no simpler way to brew your own beer. This White IPA recipe kit comes with every pre-measured ingredient you need to brew Martin's White IPA, a 5-gallon all-grain batch, from grain to glass.
The White IPA is a cross between a Belgian witbier and an American IPA. It surfaced around 2010 when two breweries released versions the same year and the name stuck. It keeps the wheat, the pale haze, and the spicy yeast of a wit, then adds the hopping rate of an IPA. The wheat and oats give it a soft body, and the finish stays light for the strength.
Centennial and Amarillo carry a citrus and floral aroma that suits the Belgian abbey yeast's clove and orchard fruit.

A Note On Substitutions
This kit includes Flaked Wheat in place of the recipe's Wheat, Unmalted (Rahr); Magnum in place of the recipe's Pacific Jade. We stock dry yeast only, so SafAle BE-256 (Belgian Abbey) dry yeast stands in for the recipe's Belgian Witbier (Wyeast Labs 3944).
